Is it just me?

I can't read those words that pop up to verify I'm a real person instead of a robot. You know, the ones most people make you type in order to post a comment on their blog?

Which makes me wonder...am I a robot? It's all very Blade Runner in my head, and I think I'd like Harrison Ford to stop by and sort things out for me.

I guess technically, I always think I *can* read the letters. So I type them in, then get the message that nope, I was wrong again. Which I find even odder than if I knew I couldn't read it. I wish they'd leave the original letters up, along with the correct answers. How am I supposed to learn if I never get any feedback? Posting on blogs is like a test that I just keep on failing.

Am I the only one with this problem, or does it take everyone get a couple "fails" each day when commenting on blogs?

I am a robot, aren't I.

Shoot.

LOL! Nope, not just you :)

Have you noticed that the more you fail, the fewer lines there are through the letters and the bigger the letters get? They get really big after the 3rd or 4th attempt ;)

Have you also noticed that you feel your comment wasn't THAT witty/important/needed by the 3rd or 4th time? ;)

Hahaha- the same thing happens to me!

I didn't know the letters get bigger and bigger after every failed attempt- that's hilarious! =)

No, sometimes I think they do it on purpose to make it impossible to read....to make you feel uber stupid....or a robot in your case.

why did my comment come up twice? My super robot powers of hitting the enter key so fast that I hit it twice? No, I think it's blogger wanting to make me feel stupid again. let's see if I can get it right this time?

hahaha!

you know, i don't have as much a problem with the ones on blogger, but elsewhere...sometimes they are SO HARD to read! i think they try and make it impossible!

i took my verification off a while ago...i got annoyed doing it on other people's blogs, so i thought i shouldn't make others get annoyed trying to comment on mine... :)

haha, sometimes I'll just click enter a couple times because I have better luck at the larger letters.

I'm usually pretty good, but earlier I had 3 fails in a row. They really need to be outlawed in bloggy land. Who should we elect sheriff?

Thanks for the birthday wishes...I've posted the answers for you!

I think we are the same person!! I noticed we have similar taste in books too. (Scott Westerfield is a good time!) We'll have to wait on the twins though. ^_^

I've never had any problem -- but dyslexia runs in my family, so I'm genetically programmed for wavy letters....

I used to have that problem too? I definitely think we are all robots. At least I feel like it doing the same thing day after day, year after year. SITS (Oh I can't remember those letters yet....) I'm checking out the rest of your blog too. THanks
