I'm putting stuff back up on our new entertainment center. We have a nice crystal bowl we got as a wedding gift, from a guest who must have mistakenly assumed we had far nicer taste than we actually do.
So here's my question: Is it okay to continue storing our wii-motes in the bowl? What do you think? Super classy?

John and I were given a beautiful Waterford cut crystal vase for our wedding. It's a short, squat design that we deemed perfect for serving M&Ms in when we had parties.
I, in fact, almost put the chocolate-covered mini-grahams from book club in there on Wed., but I wanted to put them in Gio's tupperware so that I'd remember to give it back to her.
In any case, my point (yes, yes, I have one) is that I think storing Wiimotes in the crystal bowl is A-OK.
Long answer:I'm a firm believer in using your good stuff.
After seeing my great grandma's house ransacked by relatives upon her passing, and how all her "good stuff" was just dumped out of her trunks during their search for valuables, it occured to me that I will always use my good stuff.
Staring down at the broken crystal stemware I thought of her having her nightly glass of port...if I could've seen into the future I would've poured it into the fanciest one I could find.
Short answer: Heck yes!
I LOVE it. I believe in only having things you use and if that's the best use for it right now, then at least you are using it.
Absolutely ok!
It's better than throwing it away or storing it away never to be seen.
You, my dear, put the Ass in Class.
LOL J/K :) Absolutely use it!! I've got rings I'm too lazy to run upstairs in mine....
Better wi-motes than dust mites!
This cracked me up. I say Yes...you don't want it collecting dust!
I'm glad you stopped by today.
I think as long as you don't use it as a place to store your rotten apple boots, you're good to go.
Use it however you wish. If someone else doesn't like it, they don't have to do it that way at their house.
You crack me up! At least you are using it. Mine is still in the basement collecting dust.
Ha, you really crack me up! Better than not using it. Art meets technology?
