As some of you know, I'm writing for another blog, The Veggie Project. There are a bunch of Boston-area folks eating locally and blogging their recipes. I just posted my first entry over there, an ode to summer squash. Okay, it's not an ode. It's just a recipe. But aren't recipes vaguely poetic? Isn't a good meal a form of artistry? Well, I'm stretching, especially as many of my meals, as best, could be compared to a dirty limerick.
If you're interested in eating locally, or finding new recipes, or seeing some foodporn pictures, head on over. Or if you just want to pop by and say hi and cheer on me (and the other authors). Or if you want to make fun of me (but not the other authors...I don't know how well they take teasing).
Now I'm just going to really have to focus and remember it's a VEGETARIAN blog. Who wants to take bets on how soon I'll have to rush over and edit a post because it contains chicken broth instead of vegetable broth? And you'll all just have to stay tuned here at my own blog for my inventive uses of bacon. Or not so inventive as the case may be. I'm sure I'll be eating BLTs once the tomatoes are in, and I don't think that's going to win me any "what an interesting and new recipe" awards!

I found you indirectly via Goddess in Progress (I am a friend of MommyEsq) - LOVE your blog, I am also obsessed with food!! Your post re: the proscuitto wrapped figs made me want to run out and find some figs, ASAP. :-) I also have a blog(shocking, right?) that sometimes touches on the eating local bit, but also talks about restaurants, etc. I am off to check out The Veggie Project! Also, you should check out Boston Localvores if you haven't already.
